Pick Up Your Holds at the Library

Glendale Library, Arts and Culture is excited to offer contactless Curbside Pickup service at the Glendale Central Library for all Glendale cardholders. The goal of this service is to offer convenient and safe access to our physical collections in a manner that is in line with County of Los Angeles’ Health Orders regarding COVID-19. Whether you are in a vehicle or on foot, Curbside Pickup provides a straightforward and safe way to borrow library materials.

Curbside Pickup requires a reservation in advance. Please note the following key steps to use the service:

1. Place a hold through our online catalog or by calling the library at 818-548-2021.

2. Once you receive an email notice stating that your hold is ready for pickup, you may schedule an appointment through a link provided in the notification email or by calling 818-548-2021. Please do not schedule an appointment until you receive an email indicating that your hold is ready for pickup.

3. Choose a pickup time. Curbside Pickup is available Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11 am – 2 pm and 4 – 7 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays, 12 – 6 pm.

4. Provide the information requested: name, email, phone number, library card number, and a brief description of your vehicle. A walk-up option is also available.

5. An email that confirms the date, time, and reserved parking space will be sent to you.

6. Go to the Central Library at your scheduled pickup time and park in the designated parking spot in the East Parking Lot.

7. Once you arrive, call the library at 818-548-2024. Staff will then bring your reserved items to you.
